Best authentic mexican food around. This place is located out of town but it's a hidden jewel. The staff is very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere is very homey and clean. I ordered the Birria de res ( beef soup) which came with hand made corn tortilla , cilantro, chopped onion, and lime.my My boyfriend got birria de chivo ( goat soup). Both were very delicious great flavor I can't wait to go back soon.

Delicious food and it was quiet, accept for my kids. And the waitress was very polite when my kids were being loud and obnoxious. I was impressed by the price as well, we fed a family of 6 for the cost of just my wife and I at almost any other restaurant. And the food was fresh made. The bathroom was very small, a closet with a sink and toilet.

Fantastic! Stopped in for lunch en route from NJ through Dallas & it was delicious! So glad we came here instead of some anonymous, soulless, cardboard, corporate, road-food swill-monger. Real food by real people. First-rate, and well-priced.

The Goat stew is excellent as are the juevos plates and homemade corn tortillas. Staff is friendly and attentive. Well worth the short hop off the Interstate. Also enjoyed watching the Premier League Soccer on the single TV.

This place is a little off the beaten path but well worth the trip. You can tell this is a family run business and that they take great pride in what they do, they are super nice people and the place is spotless inside and out. They make some of the same fare as some of the other Mexican food places here in the city, but the bring the onion, cilantro and lime out all I'm separate bowls and man there is plenty of it so you get go make your tacos the way you want them. I had the asada tacos and they were outstanding. Pair that up with their homemade habenero salsa and what you have is the best tacos in 19 counties. If you like authentic street tacos you have got to check this place out .

This place is good! They have vegan options that are actually flavorful and filling which is hard to find in Mexican restaurants located in smaller towns. They make everything from scratch and are accommodating of anyone with food allergies. I ordered their Mexican lentil soup with tacos de calabacitas and beans on homemade corn tortillas. The rest of my table of 5 ordered enchiladas and not one person said anything negative about them. They actually loved the enchiladas and these are pretty hard people to please when it comes to the authenticity of food! If you want true Mexican food, then this place is it!

Fantastic food. Very tasty. No wait, Sunday mid afternoon. Server was a little slow, forgot to bring us tortillas ordered and didnt tell us how to pay so we had to ask someone since she didn't come back. Overall, I'd still go back for the food. And they did have a clean bathroom.

We decided to try here on our way home from vacation. The food is very delicious, the prices are very reasonable, and everyone was very nice! We will definitely have to come back in our next road trip!

This colorful gem is right off the highway, and TOTALLY worth the stop! I'm from San Diego, and let's just say I'm a little biased when it comes to tacos, and "Tex Mex" just doesn't cut it for me. This place is the real deal, serving up authentic Mexican food and they're not afraid of heat in their hot sauce! Me and my family shared the chicken flautas (AKA taquitos or rolled tacos), carne asada sopas, and the pastor tacos and they were all amaaaazing. If only I had room in my belly to try everything off their menu! For sure anytime I am rolling by Lala's, I'll be stopping. The server was attentive, sweet, and kept the Mexican cokes coming!
